Zig Zag overlays are another way of seeing trends on charts by removing insignificant price volatility. The Zig Zag is set to only change direction when the price change is greater than a certain percentage.

By default, the percentage is set to 10%, but you can adjust this by clicking the ZigZag link at the top right-hand side of the chart. This will open a modal window where you can adjust the percentage distance. Click Close.
